Declaration of Public Roads and Taking In Charge of Housing Estates Roads Act, 1993 Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as amended) September 2020 Notice

  

In accordance with Section 11 of the Roads Act, 1993 and Section 180 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as amended) Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of Donegal County Council to consider making an Order that the housing estates listed hereunder be taken in charge with roads being declared as public roads.   

 

Extent of Housing Estates that is subject of the taking in charge application made under Section 180 of the Planning & Development Act

Creation of a public right of way pursuant to Section 207 of the Planning & Development Act 2000-2020

Alternatively arrangements can be made to view the maps listed above at any of the public service centres from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday by contacting the council on 074 9153900, until 24th October 2020.  Any objections or representations to the proposed declaration may be made in writing addressed to the Planning Authority, Estate Take Over Section, Neil T Blaney Road, Letterkenny not later than 8th November 2020.
